Day 29 → How often do you think about writing?

When don’t I think about writing?
Day 28 → Have you ever written a character with physical or mental disabilities?
Day 27 → Do appearances play a big role in your stories? How you go about designing your characters?
Editor!Emily: Okay, Emily. What are you not going to do when you describe the protagonist?
Writer!Emily: Abuse adjectives?
Editor!Emily: Other than that.
Writer!Emily: Ummmmm….
Editor!Emily: THIS. YOU AREN’T GOING TO DO THIS.

ARE YOU GOING TO DO THIS?
Writer!Emily:

Day 26 → Do you draw your characters? Do others draw them?
If I could draw do you think I’d bother with writing?

Day 25 → Do any of your characters have pets? Tell us about them.

Day 24 → How willing are you to kill your characters if the plot so demands it?

Day 23 → How long does it usually take you to complete an entire story?
Starting out:

The next day:

A month or so of work:

Finally:

Day 22 → Tell us about one scene between your characters that you’ve never written.
Their last night on Earth, their last night together, Harper and Mary lay out under the stars. They don’t say good-bye, that will have to be put off until it’s time, but they do say thank you. Mary thanks Harper for opening her eyes to the world, and Harper thanks Mary for reminding her that the world can be a beautiful place.

Day 21 → Do any of your characters have children? How well do you write them?
None in the Book Gang, some in Collector.
Liz and Emeric take in their pubescent cousin, Annie. Then there’s some hardcore baby drama when Liz get’s pregnant and Emeric’s wife, Arin gets pregnant and bad things happen and AlSDAFSJGLSDNAFJ I CANNOT BELIEVE MY OWN BRAIN CAME UP WITH WHAT I’M GOING TO DO TO LIZ. I STILL FEEL BAD ABOUT IT. Chloe surrogates for Jones and Scott (d’awwww) and it’s just a downright babyfest at the end. But basically Annie is the only one who ever is an actual person who I plan to write about.
